1. How to install AnyNexia
- First make sure that you have a configured AnyNexia Device
- Go to your MyTelephony app in uc.ipnexia.com
- Select the Devices Tab
- Check if you have a Device called “AnyNexia Mobile”. If not please contact your Administrator
- Click on The Device “AnyNexia Mobile” and a QR Code will appear.
- Keep this web page open as we will use it to login on your Mobile Phone
2. On Your Mobile Phone download the AnnyNexia app by IPNexia. For Android go to your google play store and search for the AnyNexia app, for IOS go to the Appstore and search for the AnyNexia app
3. Install the app on your phone and open the Anynexia app
4. The first time (it can ask you to do it again when main updates are requires or after a while), the app will ask you to login. Don't use your credentials but instead the QR Code option. Click on the QR Code Icon, and give access to the app to your camera phone.
5. Scan the QR Code from the webpage (uc.ipnexia.com see here above). This will automatically log you in.
2. How to use AnyNexia Mobile
When you open your AnyNexia app you will see a menu (on top for Android, at the bottom for IOS), but features an icons are the same.
Overview & App management
- App Connected: When you connect to the app, you see on the top left corner the IPNexia icon. When the icon is red, it means that you are not properly log in, please contact your administrator.
- General Settings : On the top right corner, click on the 3 dots icon to access the general settings.
- Account setup : we recommend not to touch at this configuration
- Incoming calls : this allow you to setup push notification when your receive a call. We recommend to leave the push notifications “on”. So you are sure to be notified when you receive a call.
- Preference : this open more settings choices:
- Ringtone : this allow you to change your ringtone music
- Call Recording : we recommend to contact you administrator to use this option as you need permission and to respect legal imperative (GDPR)
- Sound : You can here adjust the sound level of your microphone or you keypad. You can also enable automatically your speaker when your phone is laid display down or enable your speaker when in Video call.
- Number rewriting : This is a useful feature that we recommend to use. As to make a call you need to add a “zero” to make external call, this feature allows you to rewrite automatically the numbers of your contact by adding a zero. here are the rule to be put in place for that purpose:
- Network : we recommend not to use this option.
- Call forwarding : We recommend to use the Call forwarding from your MyTelephony app in uc.ipnexia.com.
- Contact sort order : here you can choose to sort your contact by last or first name
- Other : allows you to enable the use proximity sensor. We recommend to enable it if your phone is compatible. This allow to lock your screen when calling to avoid pushing on the screen with your face.
- Controls : give other settings possibilities : ringer behavior when on a call (vibrate, ring o nothing), play music on hold, show voicemail button in your keypads…
- Dot not disturb : activate the DND option. When activated you will not receive call on your AnyNexia mobile app
- Troubleshooting log : we recommend not to activate this option unless specially asked by your administrator or an IPNexia worker.
- Language : you can change your app language
- Start Video Automatically : this allow you to start you video automatically when answering a call. This will only works if someone of your company is calling.
- Don't Cache : please do not use this option unless special request.
- About : get information about your app (version number, build number…)
- Usage : get the number of minutes and calls done during the month and during the previous month
- Shar with friends : this allow you to share the app or wright a review
- Reset Application : this allow you to un-log from the app. Once you reset your application you will need to log in again.
AnyNexia Features
- Favorite : This allows you to cerate favorite contact
- To add a favorite contact, click on the “+” button
- Enter a Name (Title), then enter a number (Number or SIP address)
- you can activate the Busy Lamp Field (only works with contact from your company) allowing to see if your colleague is on call or not.
- You can add a photo for your contact by click on the camera icon on the top right corner.
- When done click on the check icon on the top right corner to save your favorite contact
- You can also add a colleague to your favorite by click on the add colleague icon on the top right corner.
2. History : This allows you to check your call history
3. Keypad : This allows you to make calls. Don't forget to add a 0 to make an external call. you can make a rule to automatically add “0” (see here above “Overview & App Management”)
4. Contact : You have two different view. you can switch view by clicking on the top right corner Web Service & Address Book.
- WebServices : you can access your colleague's contact
- Address Book : you can access contacts from your mobile phone (you need to give access to your contacts to the AnyNexia app
